With the lockdown in place, I have to find things to do at home. I’ve been neglecting my gaming for a while now. When I last checked Uncharted 3 on my PS4, I last played it two years ago. Such a long time…
I found a voucher for a month of Xbox Game Pass for Console in TradeMe. Since the price was reasonable enough I got one. That should help me tide up the boredom for a month.
I downloaded the usual big franchises: Forza Horizon 4, NBA 2K20 and Ace Combat 7. Loved playing them. At least for a while. Don’t get me wrong. The games are brilliant! Except for NBA 2K20 I guess. The graphics seemed stuck in the 90s. No big improvements there. Forza was great! Handling and the graphics are excellent. Ace Combat was cool as well. I remember playing my first Ace Combat on the OG PlayStation. The memories…
But after some time I got tired of them. Though excellent, they didn’t bring anything new. Same formula.
I then tried this other game I downloaded. I’ve seen this on the PS Store before but missed checking it out. But this time, I have a lot more hours so I decided to play it.
Wow, that’s all I can say after playing through the first chapter of A Plague Tale: Innocence. This game has brought me out of my gaming rut. I have never played such a great game for a long time. It has brought a great sense of thrill and suspense to me that I had to create a new blog for it.
The graphics is excellent! The environment is top-notch and the characters are alive. Amicia’s accent reminds me of the French King’s daughter’s accent in the show Vikings.
The stealth aspects of the show is very well-made. You can feel the intensity of the moment. This is a whole new experience for me.
Okay, I’ll stop for now. I’ll be moving on to. Chapter 2.
